Yin Yoga is a tranquil and restful style of yoga. Rest yourself into a calm and healthy body. This class will challenge you by asking your mind to quiet and your body to find stillness in each pose that will be held for several (2-5) minutes. Props are used to support the body to promote deep release in the connective tissues (ligaments, tendons, and cartilage). This practice also allows energy (Chi) to be freed from stagnation. Hatha simply refers to the practice of physical postures or asanas. In this class, we will work with traditional asanas (poses) and pranayama (breath). Creative and intentional sequences are designed to align, strengthen and calm the body, mind and spirit. This is an all levels class. $18 drop-in - 5/$75 - 10/$130
